Installing Netspark Mobile on Other Android Devices

Netspark Mobile provides comprehensive filtering and monitoring solutions for most Android devices. This guide walks you through the installation process on devices other than Samsung with Knox or Xiaomi with plugin.

Step-by-Step Installation Process

  1. Download Netspark Mobile
    • Use the download link sent via email or SMS after registering your device to initiate the installation.
    • Alternatively, open the Google Play Store, search for Netspark Mobile, and install the app.
    1. Open the App
      • Launch the app after downloading to start the setup process.
    1. Agree to Terms and Privacy Policy
      • Read the Privacy Policy carefully and tap Agree to proceed.
    1. Enter Your Activation Code
      • Enter the six-character Activation Code sent via email and SMS during registration.
      • If you don’t have the code, refer to this guide to retrieve it.

    1. Approve Permissions
      During installation, Netspark Mobile will guide you to enable essential permissions:

      • Overlay Access: Allow Netspark to appear on top of other apps.
      • Accessibility: Grant accessibility permissions for monitoring and filtering functionality.
      • Device Admin: Activate device administration for advanced control and security.
      • Data Usage Access: Permit Netspark to monitor data usage.
      • VPN Access: Approve VPN setup to enable filtering.
      • Notification Access: Allow Netspark to access notifications.
      • Location Access: Choose the desired level of location tracking for the app (adjustable later).
      • Install a Security Certificate:
        • When prompted, navigate to your Security Settings and follow the on-screen instructions to install the certificate.
        • The location for installing CA certificates may vary by device model and operating system version.
    1. Choose Password Protection
      • Decide whether to protect Netspark Mobile with a password to prevent unauthorized uninstallation.
    1. Installation Complete
      • Once all permissions are approved, Netspark Mobile is ready to filter and protect your device.

    Enhance Security with Hardware Level Protection

    For additional security, we recommend activating Hardware Level Protection (Device Owner Mode). This feature prevents unauthorized removal of the app and ensures optimal filtering and monitoring capabilities.

    Notes

    • Hardware Level Protection is not required for Samsung devices with Knox or Xiaomi devices using the Plugin.
    • During the setup process, ensure all necessary permissions are granted for the app to function correctly.
