Starting with Android 15, installing a security certificate directly on the device is no longer supported for Samsung (with Knox), similar to Pixel and some Xiaomi models.

To simplify your experience, Netspark now offers two flexible options after the app is installed

✨ Step 1: Install the Main App

Install Netspark as usual. No security certificate is required during this step.

🧭 Step 2: Choose Your Browsing Method

After the installation, the first time you open a browser, a landing page will appear offering two options:

✅ Option 1: Install Netspark’s Chromium Browser

• Instantly protected browsing – no certificate needed.

• Tap “Install Chromium Browser” to be redirected to the Play Store.

• Recommended for users who want a fast and easy setup.

Note: To support app shortcuts (like Instagram or Aliexpress) in Moderate and Strict protection levels, make Chromium your default browser.

🛡️ Option 2: Manually Install the Security Certificate

Tap “Install Security Certificate” to follow a step-by-step guide.

• The Security and Privacy settings will open.
  

• Scroll and tap More Security Options.
  

• Tap Encryption and Credentials.
  

• Tap Install Certificate, then select CA certificate and approve installtion.
  

• Select Downloads folder and then select the file named myca.crt
  

• Tap Done.

• While using Chromium offers quick access and built-in protection, we recommend installing the security certificate for full coverage across all apps and browsers.

  Important: In Chromium, app shortcuts won't open correctly unless:

  • The certificate is installed, or

  • Chromium is set as your default browser.
