Netspark’s Uninstall Protection feature prevents unauthorized attempts to uninstall or bypass the filter. We strongly recommend enabling this feature during the installation of Netspark, as it includes various anti-tamper measures. Once activated, an Uninstall Password will be required to remove Netspark Mobile from your device.

If you did not activate Uninstall Protection during installation, follow the steps below to enable it:

Steps to Activate Uninstall Protection:

1. Access Netspark:

   • Open the Netspark Mobile app on your device, or visit the Netspark Management Site.
   • Log in using your admin email address and password.

2. Select the Device:

   • From the device list, select the device you wish to activate Uninstall Protection for.

3. Open Settings (Mobile app only):

   • Press the Settings tab (gear icon).

4. Enable Uninstall Protection:

   • On the mobile app toggle on the Uninstall Protection switch 
     
   • In the management site press the Allow app removal with a password only button.
     

5. Confirm Activation:

   • A prompt will appear on the device. Tap Yes and press Continue.
   • Ensure the device is powered on and connected to Netspark’s VPN.

Retrieve Your Uninstall Password:

The Uninstall Password is stored in the admin web dashboard. To retrieve it:

• Log in to the Netspark Management Site with your admin email address and password.
• Locate the Filter Settings column (next to the key icon) and click Display the Password.

Additional Notes:

• You can disable Uninstall Protection by selecting Enable app removal without password.
