How to Set Daily/Weekly Screen Time Limits

Netspark Mobile's Screen Time feature enables you to manage the total time a user can spend on their device each day or week. Once the limit is reached, the user's apps (excluding essential system apps) will be blocked until the limit resets the following day or week.

Types of Screen Time Limits

  1. Screen Time Limit for All Apps: Applies to all apps installed on the device, excluding system apps.
  2. Screen Time Limit for Specific Apps Only: Applies only to the apps you select.
  3. Screen Time Limit for All Apps Except Specific Apps: Applies to all apps except those you choose to exclude.

Steps to Set Daily/Weekly Screen Time Limits

  1. Access Netspark:

    • Open the Netspark Mobile app on your device, or visit the Netspark Management Site.
    • Log in using your admin email address and password.

  2. Select the Target Device:

    • Choose the device for which you wish to set a Screen Time limit from the device list (the default selection is your device).

  3. Navigate to Screen Time Limits:

    • Tap the Screen Time Limits tab (clock icon).

  4. Enable and Edit Screen Time Limits:

    • Toggle on the Screen Time switch and press the Edit button.

  5. Choose the Type of Limit:

    • Select the desired Screen Time limit type (all apps, specific apps, or all apps except specific ones).

  6. Set Time Limits:

    • Enter the total allowed time for the daily and weekly limits and press the Save button.

  7. Manage Specific Apps (if applicable):

    • If you selected limits for specific apps or excluded apps, press the Add App button.
    • Enter the app name you wish to allow or block during the limit and choose the correct app from the auto-suggest list.

Important Notes

  • The Screen Time Limit feature is available only for Android devices.
