How do I set daily and weekly screen time limits?

How to Set Weekly Screen Time Scheduled Limits

Netspark’s Scheduled Limits feature allows you to define screen time restrictions for specific times when the user cannot use their device. You can create these limits for individual days or apply them to all days of the week. Once the Scheduled Limit is active, most apps (excluding essential system apps) will be blocked, ensuring focused, device-free time.

Steps to Set a Scheduled Limit

  1. Access Netspark:

    • Open the Netspark Mobile app on your device, or visit the Netspark Management Site.
    • Log in using your admin email address and password.
  2. Select the Target Device:

    • Choose the device you want to set the Scheduled Limit for from the device list.
  3. Navigate to Scheduled Limits:

    • Tap the Scheduled Limits tab (calendar icon).
  4. Enable Scheduled Limits:

    • Toggle on the Scheduled Limits switch and press the Add Limit button.
  5. Create a Limit:

    • Assign a name to the schedule.
    • Select the desired day of the week and define the start and end times for the limit.
    • To create a recurring daily limit, select the All Days option.

Note: If you wish to set a bedtime limit spanning midnight, create two separate limits:

    • One limit ending at 11:59 PM.
    • Another limit starting at 12:00 AM the following day.
  6. Apply the Limit:

    • Press the Add Limit button to save your changes.
  7. Allow Specific Apps (Optional):

    • To permit certain apps during restricted times, tap Always Allowed Apps.
    • Enter the app name in the search bar and select it from the auto-suggest list.
