How do I block using "Unauthorized Applications" on Android devices?

Netspark Mobile enables you to block users from using "unauthorized applications" (applications not downloaded from an official app download market such as Google Play, Samsung Apps or Amazon Appstore). This will prevent users from using unauthorized third party apps that may contain inappropriate content or may even harm the device.

In order to block unauthorized apps, please follow these steps:

1.  Open the Netspark Mobile app on your device.



2. Login with your admin email address and password.



3. Select the device you'd like to block unauthorized apps for from the device list (the default selected device is your device).



4. Press the Settings tab (gear wheel icon  ).



5. Toggle on the Block Unauthorized Apps switch (located under Advanced Protection settings).




Note:
Installing unauthorized applications will still be possible, although when trying to open the apps a block page will appear.
